WARRANTY POLICY

OUR COMMITMENT

At Kingland, we stand behind the quality of our products. We provide warranties as applicable, depending on the product type, manufacturer policy, and terms agreed upon during purchase.

WARRANTY DURATION

Warranty periods vary by product type and brand. Typical coverage includes:

  • Electronics, Appliances & ICT Products: 6 to 12 months (manufacturer-based)
  • Lighting & Automation Products: Up to 12 months
  • Agricultural Equipment: 6 months
  • Office & School Supplies: No standard warranty unless specified
  • Custom or Government-Supplied Items: Based on contract or technical specifications

Please check your product packaging, manual, or invoice for specific coverage.

WHAT IS COVERED?

  • Manufacturer defects
  • Non-functional components upon delivery
  • Malfunctions not caused by misuse or wear and tear

Warranty is valid only if product was used under normal conditions and not tampered with or altered.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

  • Physical damage, water damage, or misuse
  • Wear and tear (e.g., batteries, cords, filters)
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Improper storage or transportation
  • Force majeure events (e.g., floods, fire, natural disasters)

WARRANTY CLAIMS PROCESS

To file a claim, please email or contact us with:

  • Full Name
  • Order Number or Official Receipt
  • Product Name and Serial Number (if applicable)
  • Clear Description of the Issue
  • Supporting Photos/Videos

Once we receive your request:

  1. We will verify warranty eligibility within 3-5 business days.
  2. If approved, we'll advise on repair, replacement, or credit.
  3. The item may need to be returned for inspection or forwarded to the manufacturer.

Note: Shipping or handling costs for returning products may be shouldered by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.

REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR POLICY

  • Replacements are provided only if the item is irreparable within warranty.
  • If the exact item is unavailable, a comparable product or store credit may be offered.
  • Repairs or replacements do not reset the original warranty period.

LEGAL COMPLIANCE

This Warranty Policy complies with:

  • RA 7394 - Consumer Act of the Philippines
  • Republic Act No. 8293 - Intellectual Property Code (for branded goods)
  • Manufacturer warranty guidelines and distributor agreements

SPECIAL NOTE FOR GOVERNMENT TRANSACTIONS

For government procurement, warranties shall follow the RA 9184 IRR and technical specifications in the Purchase Order or bidding documents. Submission of warranty certificates may be required upon delivery.
